House Democratic Women of the 113th Congress

I know…I’m suppose to be revising (and I am, trust me), but had to share this:

On their first day—January 3, 2013— Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi assembled the 61 female House Democratic lawmakers on the capitol steps for a photo op.

I’m proud of the Dems for walking the walk when it comes to diversity and making history by becoming the first caucus in the history of either chamber not to have a majority of white men, according to the Washington Post.
