Hi Anita, I’m so happy I recently found your blog and have read most of it already; now I get the email alerts when you add something. I’m so grateful for this connection with your most dear sister Betty who left such a profound mark on my life. Without finding you, I would not have seen this great clip of Mother Maya, R.I.P., in this elegant conversation about what to do with THE anger. . . . . hmmm . . .loosing Betty was my encounter with grief; before that I had only thought I had lost anything, since then I have learned HOW to loose and survive, and it has never been the same or as painful. She opened so many doors for me, and now I see you carrying on that work for others, so wonderful! I am well, my life is good, I love seeing what you have done with your family foundation and it makes a tear come to my eye to see the most beautiful Miranda and think of her supremely proud Aunt Betty’s adoration raining on her from above. I was a graduate student at UNCG who she also brought up to UM to do some occasional work with her there with a few trips to NYC for special projects. I was supposed to go with her to China for the O’Neill project. Fond memories of great portent! Congratulations to you and I’ll look forward to keeping up with you. Hurrah!
