Today, December 11, 2015, my family celebrated the 66th anniversary of the birth of my sister, Betty Jean Jones. She died in a plane crash in Jan 1997. The Gaines-Jones Education Foundation —which my husband and I started 14 years ago —honors Betty’s and our parents’ memory.
