Thank you, RUMBLE, for taking the high road.
Astounding film. Should be in every theater, everywhere. But life is hard for independent films. Director, Catherine Bainbridge, Producer, Christina Fon, (Reel Injun’), Artist, Tatoo (Black Eyed Peas) and Executive Producer and rock guitarist Stevie Salas (Apache).

Saw RUMBLE at the Rafael Theater in San Rafael, CA in 2017. I didn’t have any questions during Q & A; the film had answered questions I didn’t know I had. The creators of this long, long overdue tribute to the true roots of American music took the advice of former FLOTUS Michelle Obama: they “went high”. Much of our nation has lost its mind around morals, ethics and common decency, so thank you RUMBLE for moving past US government’s genocide and colonial hypocrisy to show the true beauty, unity and history of our country which is grounded in the stories and music—from ancient to modern—of American Indians.
A long list of music artists, historians, icons’ family members, and experts participate in the film including: Tony Bennett, Quincy Jones, Taj Mahal, Martin Scorsese, George Clinton, Steven Tyler, Jackson Browne, Iggy Pop, Slash (Guns & Roses) Charlie Sexton (Bob Dylan), Steven Van Zandt, and the insuppressible Buffy Sainte-Marie.

Watch the trailer:
I think it was two maybe three years ago the Museum of American Indians had an incredible exhibit about Native American contribution to American music from Jazz to Rock to Country music. You saw their photo larger than life and looked into their eyes as you put on headphones and heard their story then listened to their music and you came away with their contribution to music, not just American music, imbedded in your heart. I couldn’t tell enough people about it and I hope this film gets the opportunity to tell their story to the world.
FABULOUS!
